Rhys - Director
Rhys can’t remember a time when dogs weren’t a defining part of his life. After spending his childhood around three family Dobermans and a staffy, he knew early on that working with dogs would be an important part of his future. For this reason, the opportunity to take the reins of the family business alongside his partner, Maddy and fur child Tura, when it came time for previous director Robbie to retire, was too good to pass up.
After working as a full-time paramedic for 10 years, Rhys is incredibly excited to work with Maddy and the same core Doghouse staff you have always trusted to care for your furry family members, to continue to provide the best possible place for dogs to socialise, learn and play.
Maddy - Director
Maddy was fortunate enough to have a variety of different breeds of dog as pets growing up, so she has always enjoyed the company of four-legged furry friends. While also working as a Paramedic, Maddy took a keen interest in the Doghouse since meeting Rhys and in turn Doghouse founder, Robbie, all those years ago. Therefore, along with Rhys, she was eager to join the pack at Doghouse Daycare in 2023 when the opportunity arose.
You will see Maddy in the play area and at the desk greeting you and your fur-friends at pick up and drop off.
